Lorraine is an author, former psychotherapist turned writer who does seminars, retreats, workshops and writes books and articles designed to help you live a soulful and meaningful life. She has close to thirty years’ experience working in the field of human development. She has worked in counseling, education and in the business world as a human resource professional. Lorraine loves the idea of being a renaissance woman – someone who has many interests and many skills and talents – who sees everyone as having the opportunity to have a renaissance in their life. Lorraine writes, speaks and consults in many areas but they each have as the common theme the idea of human development and self-actualization. Her focus is on the idea of calling and how we are all called to a unique destiny all our own.

Lorraine holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development from California State University at Eastbay. She is a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Trainer, a Nationally Certified Counselor and an Authentic Happiness Coach. Her work experience includes 14 years in private practice as a psychotherapist, close to twenty years as a career counselor and life coach, three years as a professor of Psychology and English and twelve years business experience in human resources and management.

A quote from Lorraine: “My belief is that we are all here to become our best and most authentic selves and then to give our gifts to the world in a way that matters both to us as individuals and to the world. I see the common tread in all enterprises as the human element and when this is addressed and people’s needs and strengths are used in a way that is satisfying to both the individual and the enterprise, success will then follow for both. I believe in abundance, the beauty of each soul and that we all can manifest our dreams.”
