 What is the New Visions Program?

The New Visions Program is a 12 week coaching and visioning program.  It’s designed to shift your focus, re-invent yourself, your work or your relationships so that you can create a vision and a plan for a meaningful, purposeful and powerful future, one that Matters!   

What are the 5 keys to the New Visions Program? 

 Key One - Positive Psychology

The first key ingredient in the New Visions Program is Positive Psychology which may sound like an old idea but is in reality a new way for mainstream and academic psychology to look at people.  Since Freud the field of psychology has looked at and focused on what was wrong with people.  This has created many therapies and treatments for people with major mental illness but has failed until recently to look at and champion what was right with people.  With the New Visions Program we look at what’s right with you and build on that. 

Key Two -  The Law of Attraction

The second key is the idea of the law of attraction.   Many of you have read or seen the runaway best seller The Secret that talks about the Law of Attraction.   Simply put, this law says that what you think is the way it is and that if you think about what you want in a positive way you will draw this to you.  This sounds easy but there are caveats to it and these will be illuminated in the New Visions Program.

Key Three - The Law of the Negative as a Positive

The third key concept is the idea that the negative must become a positive.  Unlike the author of the Secret who seems to suggest that all one has to do is think happy thoughts and everything we want will come rolling into our lives, I believe we have to also pay attention and listen to the negative as well.  The negative in our lives is a message from our souls. What that message is and what we are to do about it will be explained in the New Visions Program.  I will give you tools for using negative events as positive motivators and change agents.

Key Four -  The Law of Other Forces

The fourth concept is the law of other forces.  Although I firmly believe in the Law of Attraction I don’t believe it functions in a vacuum  - there are other factors that need to be taken into consideration and these will be addressed.  What you need to do to work with these will be explained in the New Visions Program so that you are not simply sitting around wishing for wonderful things to happen, you are actively involved in the process. 

Key Five - The Law of Forgiveness and Gratitude

The fifth key is the law of forgiveness and gratitude.  I believe it has been shown in all kinds of situations that the person of gratitude and forgiveness lives a happier and more inwardly successful life than one who holds grudges, resentments and has a lack of gratitude.  In the New Visions program I will help you clean out your psychic closets of all resentments, un-forgiven transgressions or any sense of being a victim. 

How Does it work?

Below is the outline for the twelve weeks.  Each week will begin with a discussion of the topic for that week and the home work assignments based on that topic.  The next week a new topic will be introduced and a review of the homework will be done.  The program also includes reading material sent to you via email and unlimited email questions and support.  This program is done over the phone or in person in my office in Denver.  Sessions over the phone are about 45 minutes and the in person sessions last approximately one hour.
